Assembly / Stores Operative
Kirkby in Ashfield
Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4pm
Pay: 12.78ph
Fresh Start Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Kirkby, a specialist in interconnect design solutions. They are one of the worldwide market leaders of their products in the Military/Civil Aerospace, Land Systems, Subsea, Oil and Gas, Space and Industrial and Mass Transit Industries.
We are currently looking to recruit a number of assembly operatives to support the ongoing growth of their Kirkby facility. If you are looking for a career opportunity within a business where people really count, look no further.
**Initially commencing on a temporary contract but after just 12 weeks trial period you have the opportunity to secure yourself a permanent contract subject to satisfactory performance.**
The Role & Responsibilities:
* Following written instructions and have
* The ability to select the correct number of stock/items needed
* Ensure all stock is counted correctly and efficiently and ready for production
* Flexible approach to support other departments as and when needed
* Assembly small components using detailed instructions
Person Specification:
* Stock and or assembly experience is preferred
* Patience
* Good attention to detail
* Must have excellent communication skills
* Must be able to work well under pressure
* Must have a great attitude and work ethic
