Assembly Operative

Location: Chertsey, KT16 0AW
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00 (your preference)
Pay Rate: £13.50-£14.00 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Operatives to join an innovative manufacturing company based in Chertsey. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with good manual dexterity who enjoy hands-on work and can follow instructions accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble small and intricate parts and components
Follow work instructions and assembly procedures accurately
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Conduct basic quality checks on completed assemblies
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential
Ability to work with small components and perform detailed assembly tasks
Comfortable using small hand tools
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Must hold a valid driving licence, as public transport access is limited
