Job Title: Assessor/Trainer – Civil Engineering Location: Cambridge Salary: £31,110 - £36,157 pa We are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Assessor/Trainer in Civil Engineering to join a well-established Further Education and Apprenticeships provider. This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineering professional who is passionate about developing the next generation of industry talent. About the Role As an Assessor/Trainer in Civil Engineering, you will be responsible for managing an agreed caseload of apprentices, delivering high-quality coaching, mentoring, and training throughout their programme. You will act as the key point of contact for learners and their employers, ensuring a smooth and supportive journey from enrolment to End Point Assessment. Key responsibilities include: Conducting regular progress reviews and providing constructive feedback Supporting learners in building strong portfolios and preparing for EPA Working closely with employers to identify meaningful workplace activities Tracking and documenting learner progress in line with quality assurance standards Delivering targeted sessions to support wider life skills and employability Ensuring compliance with awarding body requirements and organisational valuesDue to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use are essential.
