Asset Engineer (Structures) | Derby or Stratford based | Up to £51,000
One of the UK’s largest and most respected employers is seeking a detail orientated Structural Engineer to improve the quality of assessments and recommendations for maintenance and upkeep of 8000 + infrastructure assets within their Eastern Region.
The successful candidates goals will be to:
Recommend engineering solutions to improve asset condition, safety, and performance across a rich variety of historically significant structures
Enhance the delivery and quality of structural examinations by collaborating across internal and external stakeholders, improving methodologies and processes, and harnessing technology
Drive continuous improvement and look at creating efficiencies.

Working Arrangements
Office locations: Stratford or Derby
Hybrid working model: minimum of 3 days in office depending on business needs.
Salary
£43,588 - £51,718 per annum dependant on experience
If based in London, you will be given a London Allowance of an additional £3270 per annum
Candidate Essential Criteria
Bridge Engineering experience (Essential)
Strong attention to detail and proactive (Essential)
Rail, Highways, or infrastructure Engineering experience (Desirable)
Working towards membership of a relevant professional institution (Essential)
Qualifications
HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering (Essential)
STE2/STE02 competency or STE01 competency (Desirable)
Degree in a relevant subject (Desirable)
