HST Hiring Group are excited to be working with a well-established, car finance and loan company, based in Bolton, who are looking for an Asset Manager to join their team!
The purpose of this position is to drive new business, in order to maintain high business levels, specifically for the asset department. Based out in the field they are expected to build new relationships with asset dealers across the country. The role is based around canvassing for new business and setting up new dealerships, then handing over the day-to-day maintenance of the relationship to the Asset Manager.
Key responsibilities:
* Canvasing new dealerships and building working relationships with them
* Visiting existing dealerships and maintaining key relationships
* Supporting dealerships with growing and developing their businesses
* Working with the marketing department to create bespoke proposition information and material to be able to approach new dealerships and grow the current asset business
* Anniversary emails and or calls to existing customers and / or businesses to see if there is any requirement for any further purchases or support required from the service that we are able to provide
* Helping dealerships with their applications and supporting them and their customers through the application process
* Call plans are imperative for effective planning and performance management. These need to be logged and sent to Director on an agreed basis
* Keeping up to date with the marketplace and understanding what’s happening with competition movements
* Establishing the position that Motion Finance will hold within their dealerships to be able to negotiate and work on improving this where possible
* Carry out and follow up regulatory audits (where required) with their dealerships on a quarterly basis, outlining areas for improvement and reporting this back to the Director and Compliance Manager
* Carry out asset inspections where required in line with Company and lender requirements
* Visiting customers and / or dealerships to support the signing of legal documentation
* Ensuring complete confidence in the online proposal system in order to ensure high levels of proposal maintenance and usage of the quotation facility where possible
* Negotiation on pricing packages with their dealerships with support and guidance from the Director
* Working closely with the asset team to process and convert applications for dealerships and customers
* Working on individual incentives with each dealership considering their nominal value and what they’re looking for from the broker service
* 1-2-1 with the Director on an agreed basis to discuss individual performance, the performance of the department, what’s going well and ways to move forward
* Attending quarterly sales meetings at an agreed venue with all Sales teams to discuss changes, updates, regulatory changes or anything else the Company feels appropriate, for the purpose of communication and upskilling
* Working towards and achieving any targets and incentives set out by the Directors on a regular basis
A full UK driving licence is required for this position
