Cherry Professional are working with an established, privately owned organisation in Skegness to recruit an Assistant Accountant within a busy finance function where you'll be covering more than one site. (Occasional, but only very occasional, travel will be required)
The role
This is a hands-on, varied position supporting the production of management information and maintaining accurate balance sheet control.
Key duties will include:
Assisting with management accounts
Posting and reviewing accruals and prepayments
Balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts
Supporting trial balance integrity and month-end processes
General finance support to the wider team as requiredWhat we’re looking for
Part-qualified (ceased or actively studying) finance professional
Experience across month-end / management accounts support
Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working on-site and collaborating with stakeholdersPackage & benefits
Salary: up to £35,000
Benefits: Study support, 25 days holiday, pension scheme, on-site parking
Working pattern: On-site / 40 hours per week. A hybrid option is to be discussed at time of interview
