Description
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Support the reconciliation of bank accounts and other key financial records.
Ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
Maintain and update ledgers, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
Provide support during external and internal audits.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function.Profile
The successful Assistant Accountant should have:
AAT qualification or actively studying for CIMA or ACCA qualification.
Experience working in the industrial or manufacturing sector is advantageous.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
An eye for detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
