About the Role
Vita CV is hiring on behalf of a growing financial services client seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support day-to-day finance operations. This remote role is ideal for someone with accounting experience looking for flexibility and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts
- Perform reconciliations: bank, supplier, and customer accounts
- Process invoices and journal entries
- Support with VAT returns and payroll preparation
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audit preparation
What We’re Looking For
- AAT qualified or working toward an accounting qualification
- 1–2 years of experience in a finance/accounts role
- Solid understanding of accounting software (Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks)
- Strong Excel and data entry skills
- Accuracy, discretion, and organisational excellence
