They are now looking for a Assistant Branch Manager to join their Croydon team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and wants to be part of a company that truly values its people.
What You’ll Be Doing

Be the friendly face of their busy Trade Counter, helping customers in person and over the phone.
*
Take and process customer orders, offering accurate and helpful product information.
*
Assist in the warehouse with picking, packing, and loading customer orders when required.
*
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace, following company procedures at all times.
*
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure excellent service and smooth daily operations.
What You’ll Bring
* Supporting the delivery of sales and margin targets across the branch.
* Building strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
* Ensuring efficient stock control, pricing strategies, and timely deliveries.
* Championing a positive health & safety culture, ensuring compliance with all standards.
* Helping maintain vehicles, pre-shift checks, and branch infrastructure.
* Leading by example and supporting a motivated, service-driven team.
* Assisting in identifying growth opportunities and responding to competitor activity.
* Being hands-on and flexible—whether on the trade counter, in the yard, or admin support.
