Assistant Contracts Manager - Industrial Cladding/Roofing

Are you an experienced Site Manager, Supervisor, or Assistant Contracts Manager in the roofing or building envelope sector looking to step up into a Contracts Manager role?

We're working with a well-established industrial roofing contractor (20+ years' experience) who is looking to strengthen their team with a driven and ambitious Assistant Contracts Manager.

The Role

You'll support the delivery of multiple roofing projects from pre-start through to completion, taking ownership of:

✔️ Contract setup, scope review & negotiations
 ✔️ Planning labour, materials & plant
 ✔️ RAMS & project documentation
 ✔️ Budget tracking, cost control & valuations
 ✔️ Variations & invoicing
 ✔️ Procurement of materials & subcontractors
 ✔️ Site inspections & quality assurance
 ✔️ Client, supplier & stakeholder management
 ✔️ Leading site teams & subcontractors

What We're Looking For

Experience in roofing, cladding, or building envelope
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Knowledge of metal roofing, single-ply & liquid systems
Solid understanding of Health & Safety / CDM regulations
CSCS card (SMSTS or SSSTS desirable)
Strong organisational & leadership skills
Full UK driving licence
