Contract Details:
Contract Type: Temporary (6 months)
Daily Rate: £500 - £700 per day Umbrella (inside IR35) negotiable
Working Pattern: Full Time (2 days in the office)
Location: Ealing, London (just a 12-minute walk from Ealing Broadway train station)
Hybrid: 2/3 days onsite depending on service requirementsRole Overview:
As the Assistant Director, you will inspire a talented team of technical officers and spearhead innovative projects that aim to revolutionise transport services in the borough. With a focus on enhancing resident experience, reducing congestion, and improving air quality, your leadership will be pivotal in uniting council functions and stakeholders to reimagine our streets and promote sustainable transport solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exemplary operational leadership while fostering a culture that aligns with the Council's values and priorities.
Drive service transformation initiatives through innovation and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with council services to enhance resident satisfaction and engagement.
Guide operational planning and financial management to ensure robust service delivery.
Develop partnerships with local authorities and agencies to elevate the council's profile and achieve shared objectives.
Serve as a technical advisor to the Cabinet and Senior Leadership Team, influencing local policy and implementing strategic initiatives. What We're Looking For:
