You will support the technical assurance of developer-led highway schemes, ensuring that new and improved infrastructure is adoptable and aligns with County Council policy.
This role is ideal for an early-career engineer seeking growth in a high-performing team with hands-on exposure to highway planning and delivery.
You will
Support technical review of developer designs for highways and ensure alignment with planning conditions.
Assist with local planning consultations and prepare technical input as needed.
Attend meetings and respond to on-site queries in a timely, solution-focused manner.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners including district councils and developers.
Support the preparation and progression of Section 38 and 278 legal agreements.Required
HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Some exposure to highway engineering and development planning preferred.
Familiarity with the Highway Act 1980 and CDM Regulations 2015 desirable.
Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Full UK driving licence (site visits and inspections required)
