Assistant Estimator - Social Housing
Salary: £20,000 - £35,000 per annum (DOE)

We're looking for a motivated Assistant Estimator to join our team, working on projects within the social housing sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who's recently graduated, completed college, or is early in their career to gain hands-on experience in estimating and pricing construction works.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing cost estimates and quotations for social housing projects.
Analyse tender documents and prepare accurate material and labour costings.
Input and manage data using Excel to produce clear reports.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing.
Support senior estimators in reviewing budgets and project costs.
Assist with ongoing cost monitoring during projects.
Requirements:
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, data sorting, and basic analysis).
Good mathematical ability and attention to detail.
Confident communicator and team player.
Willingness to learn and develop skills within estimating and construction
