Assistant Finance Officer
Location: Orchard Street, Lincoln, LN1 1YL
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 4+ Months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £ 12.21 per hour

Job Responsibilities
Handle calls and emails.
Assist with customer inquiries related to credit and care charges.
Send invoices, process payments, and manage adjustments.
Forward queries and track responses.
Collaborate on recovery actions or write-offs.
Refer complex cases to a senior controller.
Contact debtors to assess finances.
Report issues to a senior controller.
Review invoices and reminders for quality.
Advise on debt recovery.
Prepare cases for court action.
Support managers in solving problems.
Person Specifications
Must Have:
Customer service experience.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to multitask.
Basic finance knowledge.
Nice to Have:
Experience in credit control.
Familiarity with court procedures.
Problem-solving skills.
