📍 Location: Manchester
📅 Start Date: Sept 25 | End Date: 18th July 2026
💼 Contract: Full-Time, Temporary
💰 Daily Rate: £105 - £120
🕗 Hours: 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday
This role would suit a confident and experienced Teaching Assistant or Pastoral Support Worker who thrives when supporting young people.
Your main responsibility will be managing the school's "on-call" system - responding to behavioural incidents across the school as they arise. This means you'll be constantly on the move, called upon to de-escalate disruptions and support teaching staff in maintaining a calm learning environment.
To thrive in this position, you'll need to be:
✔️ Calm under pressure
✔️ Adaptable to changing situations
✔️ A skilled and confident communicator
Experience with pastoral or behavioural intervention is highly desirable, especially within an "on-call" capacity, but not essential. Training and support will be provided.
What We're Looking For:
✅ Proven experience working with young people (references required)
✅ Up-to-date Safeguarding & Prevent training (within the last 12 months)
✅ Experience managing challenging behaviour and delivering appropriate interventions
