Assistant Infrastructure Engineer
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Infrastructure Engineer to support our growing civil and structural design team based in London.
As part of a dynamic and experienced consultancy involved in a wide range of property development projects, from regeneration of existing buildings to new-build construction, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in infrastructure engineering within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
·Assist in the design of drainage systems for residential, commercial, and educational developments.
·Support senior engineers in the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments (FRA) and Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) designs.
·Work with engineering software such as AutoCAD and MicroDrainage under supervision.
·Contribute to the production of technical drawings, reports, and design documentation.
·Attend internal project meetings and support client communications as required.
·Engage in continuous learning and development with mentorship from experienced engineers.
Requirements:
·Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
·Relevant experience (placements or internships are advantageous).
·Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or drainage design software (e.g., MicroDrainage) is preferred.
·Strong communication and teamwork skills.
·Eagerness to learn, develop professionally, and contribute to diverse projects.
