🔍 What You'll Do
Lead a team of skilled technicians delivering planned, reactive, and statutory maintenance across a portfolio of iconic university buildings.
Be the go-to expert for building services, ensuring maximum uptime and compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Manage Permits to Work, liaise with contractors, and oversee critical systems that keep the university running smoothly.
Champion a customer-focused culture, ensuring high-quality service delivery and rapid response to emergencies.
Take ownership of Safe Systems of Work, fault diagnosis, and system recovery-especially in critical environments.
🧠 What You Bring
Essential:
Level 3+ qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC (or equivalent City & Guilds)
Strong knowledge of engineering systems, statutory compliance, and health & safety
Proven team leadership and excellent communication skills
IT proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a passion for service excellenceDesirable:
IOSH Managing Safely
First Aid certification
Experience in critical environments
