Assistant Maintenance Manager (Medium / Heavy Manufacturing)
Burton Upon Trent
10 Hour Day Shifts With early Friday Finish
£52,000 to £57,000 + Company Pension Scheme + Life Assurance + 23 Days Holiday (increases with service) + Bank Holidays
Assistant Maintenance Manager required for a well-established manufacturer who are growing and can offer long term career stability. The role will suit candidates who have lead, coached and supervised / managed a maintenance team.
The role will involve assisting and supporting the Maintenance Manager with management of the Maintenance Team and day to day activities. Accountability for implementing planned preventative maintenance, repairs and planned shutdown works within set budgets and in line with Company policy and procedures. Reactive response to unplanned downtime is also a key aspect of this role.

The Assistant Maintenance Manager Role:
* Assistant Management of the Maintenance Team.
* Accountability for implementing planned preventative maintenance, repairs and planned shutdown works within set budgets and in line with Company policy and procedures.
* Reactive response to unplanned downtime is also a key aspect of this role.
* Ensuring that the team are working safely within Health & Safety working practices and regulations.
* Control and maintain spares inventory.
* Involves mechanical and electrical aspects.
The Assistant Maintenance Manager:
* Will have lead, coached and supervised / managed a maintenance team.
* Ideally from a medium / heavy industrial background.
