Job Description

Mamas & Papas is a truly global omni-channel organisation. Our award winning products we design and bring to life, are accessible via our own Mamas & Papas stores and concessions across the UK and ROI, our (url removed) ecommerce site, plus where we provide our products into other Uk retailers from small independents to other national retailers. Adding to this our products can be purchased in over 30 countries around the world, whether direct to retail, via internation distributors, or via our international Mamas & Papas franchise partners.

From a Finance department perspective, a fast paced, varied and multi-funtional department bringing all these elements together in a clear way.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Support the month-end close process including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Support the analysis of variances against budget and forecast
• Weekly performance reports
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Skills and Experience:
• Part-qualified accountant (or looking to begin along your study journey).
• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the retail or FMCG sector.
• Strong MS Excel capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills.
