Job Title: Junior/Assistant Management Accountant
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Location: Derby (Hybrid working - 2 days from home)

Gleeson Recruitment are working with a client based in Derby that are looking for a Junior Management Accountant to join their growing team. This role is newly created and perfect for someone looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
Support with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Process accruals, prepayments, and journal entries
Prepare financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making
Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end procedures
Work closely with other departments to gather financial data
Support in identifying process improvements and efficiencies
Provide ad hoc support to the Finance Manager and wider teamAbout You
Part-qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA/AAT
Strong numeracy and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
