Assistant Management Accountant
Falkirk, Scotland
Full-Time, Permanent
We are working with a well-established, specialist construction contractor based in Falkirk who are looking to strengthen their finance team with the addition of a dedicated Assistant Management Accountant.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual working towards their AAT qualification who is eager to develop their career in a dynamic, fast-paced industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
* Support with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
* Maintain accurate financial records and reports
* Reconcile accounts and manage accruals
* Liaise with project teams to monitor costs and financial performance
* Assist with VAT returns and compliance
* Provide ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making
What We’re Looking For:
* Actively studying towards AAT (Level 3 or 4 preferred)
* Some prior experience in an accounts/finance role
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
* Excellent Excel and general IT skills
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
