Job Title: Assistant Manager - Fine Wine and Spirits Store Location: Knightsbridge, London Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 per annum + KPI-based Bonus Contract: Full-Time (40 hours per week) About the Role: A prestigious fine wine and spirits retailer is seeking an experienced, ambitious, and charismatic Assistant Manager to support the leadership of a newly launched luxury store. This elegant retail space offers an exceptional selection of premium spirits, collectable whiskies, fine wines, and liqueurs. Key Responsibilities: Support the General Manager in recruiting, training, and leading a high-performing team focused on delivering outstanding customer service. Build long-term relationships with clients through expert product knowledge and personalised service. Assist in executing the annual marketing calendar, including in-store tastings, events, and promotional campaigns. Manage stock levels, oversee inventory processes, and ensure accurate stock control. Identify commercial opportunities and contribute strategic insights to drive growth. Collaborate with the Buying Manager to maintain strong supplier relationships. Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to support business strategy. Ensure the store operates to the highest standards of presentation and professionalism.Key Qualifications: WSET Level 3 in Wine and/or Spirits (or equivalent) is essential. Experience in luxury hotel bar management or as a sommelier is highly desirable. Minimum 3 years of experience in premium retail or hospitality management. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Passion for fine wines, champagne, and premium spirits.Additional Requirements: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays (store operates 7 days a week, 10am-10pm).Office Angels is an employment agency and business.
