Position Overview:
As Assistant Manager, you will support senior management in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel. Your role will be critical in ensuring the smooth running of all departments, enhancing guest satisfaction, and managing staff performance. This position requires a highly organised, detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior management in the overall coordination and management of hotel operations
Supervise and support department managers to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
Monitor staff performance, provide training and development opportunities, and conduct performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and service standards
Manage inventory, budgets, and financial records related to operations
Support the development and implementation of strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and safety standards are met
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and high moraleQualifications:
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry
Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest service principles
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
