As Assistant Programme Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing programme governance, maintaining risk registers, and developing next year’s deliverable programme while keeping a strategic eye on the 10-year roadmap. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with priorities and drive efficiencies across the programme. Your duties and responsibilities: The role will support the Infrastructure Programme Manager leading on the management of programme governance and controls. The role is responsible for the management of the Major Works Programme risk register, including the reviewing scoring, mitigations and risk descriptions. Reporting of these risks to the Risk Management Group and Major Works Programme Review to support the delivery of projects on the programme. The role is responsible for the development of the next years programme, ensuring this is deliverable and captures requirements. The postholder is also responsible for maintaining an oversight and reviewing the 10-year programme on a regular basis to ensure this aligns with programme changes.  Key tasks associated with this role:   Oversee the management of the Infrastructure Programme Risk Register. Lead on the monthly review, update and issue of the Infrastructure Programme Risk Register. Responsible for the Infrastructure Programme Risks that sit within the Infrastructure Programme Management Team. Maintain a Live Major Works Programme for DHI. Review the 10-year programme to ensure this aligns with programme changes and look to find efficiencies within this programme. Development of the next years programme collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the programme is deliverable and reflective of HMNB Clyde priorities. Work closely with key stakeholders across HMNB Clyde to improve the management of programme governance and controls. You will have the following qualifications & experience: MS O365 proficient. Programme management / governance management experience. Excellent stakeholder management and engagement at all levels. Strong presentation and communication skills. Organised with ability to work on own initiative and be proactive. Security - The incumbent of this role must be a minimum of SC cleared and a sole UK national. Working arrangements – The incumbent of this role must be able to do hybrid working with the ability to attend the site up to 2 days per week and / or to meet business needs, as requested. The setting for the role The role will be mainly office based, with visits to site as required. A safety induction will be provided.
