Job Description
Our client who specialise in Civil Engineering and Utilities works throughout the UK are looking for an Assistant QS for a newly awarded framework with Thames Water.
The works involve a 9 year framework with Thames Water undertaking Mains Replacements works including heavy Civils, Deep Excavations and associated Civils works with the projects being all around the London region (appreciate this is vague however there are sites all over).
Duties will include assisting the Senior QS with the Procurement of Sub Contractors, Overseeing Sub Contractor Accounts, Issuing Payments and CVRs.
Office location will be Maple Cross and there is degree of flexibility with this also.
In return, a top day rate is on offer along with an immediate start and long term contract with permanent on offer in the long run if interested.
