Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Construction
Location: Brierley Hill, West Midlands
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join an established commercial team. Based at our Brierley Hill Head Office, you’ll be supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of construction projects, while developing your commercial and contractual knowledge in a dynamic and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Quantity Surveyor with cost planning, tendering, and project financial management
*
Prepare and issue subcontractor enquiries and comparisons
*
Support with valuations, variations, and final accounts
*
Maintain project cost reports and cash flow forecasts
*
Ensure all commercial activities align with company procedures and compliance standards
Requirements:
*
Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
*
1–3 years’ experience in a similar role (main contractor background preferred)
*
Strong numeracy and analytical skills
*
Excellent organisation and communication skills
*
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard construction software
