Job Description

Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Manchester City Centre | Up to £35,000

We’re working with a well-established, growing consultancy in Manchester city centre who are looking to bring in an Assistant QS to join their team.

They’ve built a strong reputation across the North West, particularly within healthcare and education, and have a solid pipeline of secured work. The team itself is a big selling point – genuinely friendly, supportive, and not overly corporate. It’s the kind of environment where you’ll be trusted, given responsibility, and properly supported in your development rather than just being another number.

The role:
You’ll be working alongside experienced QSs and senior staff across a range of healthcare and education projects, getting involved in everything from early cost planning through to final accounts. It’s a good opportunity to broaden your experience within a consultancy setting and take on more responsibility as you progress.

What they’re looking for:

  * Around 2+ years’ experience in a QS role

  * Degree qualified

  * Some exposure to NEC and/or JCT contracts

  * Ideally some consultancy experience (not essential)

  * Someone who’s keen to learn and progress
