Assistant Quantity Surveyor | Northampton | Civil Engineering
We are working with a key client that has secured a significant number of framework project wins in the Midlands, Anglia and Home Counties areas. An Assistant Quantity Surveyor is required to be on large-scale infrastructure projects. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be predominantly site based with hybrid working from home.
The Opportunity
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will be part of a commercial team. Reporting to a Managing Quantity Surveyor. Engaged to take on responsibility for larger packages of works and work closely with the project team. Our client has a demonstrable and proven process, to assist staff with transparent and efficient career progression
Day to day
Assisting with:
* Procurement of sub-contractors
* Sub-contractor account management
* Maintaining commercial controls on projects
* Close liaison and collaborative team work with the project team and supply chain
* Attend meetings with supply chain and internal teams
You
* A relevant qualification in the Construction/ Civil Engineering industry preferred
* Demonstrable working knowledge as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor capacity
* Civil Engineering project experience preferred but not essential
* Flexible approach and keen to progress your career
