Role: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Mid Sussex (Hybrid)
The Company:
A regional generalist building contractor working on a variety of new build, refit/refurbishment as well as maintenance projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents, bills of quantities, and cost estimates.
Collaborate with the Quantity Surveying team to review project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential cost implications.
Assist in the valuation of work completed, managing payment applications, and ensuring accurate financial documentation.
Support in the negotiation and settlement of variations, claims, and disputes, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and resolve any cost-related queries.
Assist in contract administration tasks, including contract drafting, review, and management.This is a great opportunity to prepare yourself for a Quantity Surveying position with great room for development and guidance from established professionals.
