Role Overview:
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you’ll support the commercial team in managing project costs, procurement, and contract administration. This is a hands-on role that offers excellent exposure to all stages of the construction lifecycle, with guidance and mentorship to help you develop into a fully qualified Quantity Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with preparing cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation
Support the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
Help manage valuations, variations, and final accounts
Maintain accurate financial records and reporting
Work collaboratively with project and site teams
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry
Exposure to medium to large-scale projects is desirable
Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn
Strong communication and organisational skills
Relevant qualifications or working towards (e.g. HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar)
