Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum

About the Role:
We’re seeking a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established construction and fit-out specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone recently graduated or with a couple of years’ experience in quantity surveying, ideally within fit-out, refurbishment, or construction projects.
You’ll work closely with senior surveyors and project managers on a variety of projects across commercial sector.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tenders.
Measure quantities and prepare bills of quantities.
Help manage project costs to ensure budgets are met.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Assist in preparing interim valuations and final accounts.
Monitor and report on project progress and costs.
Support in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Keep accurate records of project documentation and cost data.
About You:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar (or working towards).
1–2 years’ relevant experience in construction or fit-out.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficient in MS Office; experience with industry-specific software beneficial.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
