Sofia’s Tapas & Bistro is coming to Hunstanton.
Incorporating a bar for cocktails, wine, beers & refreshing drinks, a fresh, cosy, vibrant new & unique concept adding flavour to our lovely coastal / seaside town of Hunstanton.
We are on the lookout for an experienced, passionate Assistant Manager to embrace this new project.
The start date is yet to be confirmed as the extensive fit out works are currently underway, we are hoping for the successful candidate to be available from middle to end of September ready for opening soon after.

What we are looking for:
* We are looking to build a team of positive, proactive & motivated colleagues who put the quality & guest experience first in a professional & fun environment.
* The ideal candidate would have previous management experience, but we will also consider candidates that have been in a supervisor role but feel ready to take on the next step.
* Someone passionate & eager to succeed, displaying a desire to deliver & achieve the highest quality & standards.
* We are looking for leadership, enthusiasm, someone responsible & an eye for detail.
* Good communication skills are a must as you will support, lead & inspire a small front of house team to work alongside the kitchen team & work side-by-side with the General Manager.
* You will be working in a hands-on, fast paced environment hence the ability to multitask, supervise communicate & lead without compromising the guest experience will be important.
* You must have a thorough Food Safety & Health & Safety knowledge, Level 2 desirable to ensure you & the team adhere to all the Food/Health & Safety rules so the workspace is safe, organised & tidy.
* We are looking for a can-do attitude & have a genuine passion for food, creating memorable experiences will be at the heart of what we do.
* The position will be permanent, & the salary will be dependent on experience, weekly working hours will be 48 hours on a rota basis to include weekends, school holidays, bank holidays & late nights.
* Weekend availability is essential.
* You will be responsible for the support of the daily operation of the restaurant, supporting both FOH & BOH.
* Rota management, ordering, checking deliveries as well as ensuring the stock is accurate & rotated to ensure good stock control.
* Motivate & train the team, continuously developing the team to ensure the highest of standards of service are always maintained.
* Deliver outstanding service & create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
* Ensure high standards of hygiene, health & safety & food quality.
* Set up & take charge in the absence of the General Manager.

* Competitive salary – Above current market rates - £37k - £40k Depending on Experience
