Job Description
Daytime Healthcare are assisting a national care provider to find Assistant Service Managers to join the team in the Shropshire area, we have a couple of different locations such as Highley and Shrewsbury.
We support people who have learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge. We are looking for someone with experience in supported living such as Senior Support Workers who are looking to progress.
Our ideal Assistant Service Manager looks like this!
* Work with your Manager to manage and lead a successful and positive team.
* Understands the balance between keeping people safe and promote positive risk taking.
* Have a good understanding of the social care sector and how it benefits and impacts the people we support.
* Support your team to stay up to date with policies and procedures to carry out and maintain safe and best practices.
* Support the Service Manager to recruit new employees and develop and manage your staff team in a fair and consistent manner.
A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential , however applicants should be aware of local transport links and the rural setting of this service and surrounds.
(For the Highley location, This role requires the right candidate to Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle also to have business insurance and be willing to take the service users out in your own car.)
Qualifications:
* Level 3 Diploma or equivalent experience.
