An Award Winning Housing Developer is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their team in Dunbar. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a high-volume timber frame site with the guidance and support of a Senior Site Manager.
Job Duties:
Assist the Senior Site Manager in overseeing daily on-site operations
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
Coordinate and manage subcontractors
Monitor progress and quality of work
Assist in the resolution of any site issues
Maintain accurate site records and documentation
Required Qualifications:
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
First Aid certification
Valid Driving Licence
Experience:
Prior experience in timber frame construction or new build housing projects
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of timber frame construction methods
Excellent project management skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and leadership skills
Working Conditions:
The role involves on-site work with flexible hours if required.
