Job Title: Assistant Site Manager / Finishing Manager
Sector: Main Contractor - Hotel Refurbishment
Rate: £27 Per Hour
Location: Crewe
Start Date: August

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager / Finishing Manager to work alongside a No.1 Site Manager on a hotel refurbishment project in the Crewe area. You will be joining an established site team to help drive the refurbishment works through to successful completion.

The Role
As Assistant Site Manager / Finishing Manager, you will support the Site Manager whilst taking responsibility for managing and coordinating all internal and external finishing works to achieve programme, quality and safety targets.

Key duties will include:

  * Take responsibility for managing and coordinating all internal and external finishing works.

  * Oversee all finishing trades through to successful handover.

  * Manage subcontractors, quality control and defect resolution.

  * Drive programme delivery against key milestones and report progress.

  * Coordinate with the Site Manager and Project Management teams.

  * Ensure works are delivered to the highest standards of quality and health & safety.

  * Manage snagging, commissioning and client handover.

About You
You will be an experienced Assistant Site Manager or Finishing Manager with a proven track record working for a Main Contractor. This role would particularly suit someone with previous experience delivering hotel and leisure projects, although candidates with experience on new build apartments, student accommodation or high-quality residential developments will also be considered.

  * Strong knowledge of internal fit-out and finishing packages.

  * Ability to work to demanding programmes and quality standards.

  * Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

  * SMSTS / CSCS Card / First Aid at Work.

You'll receive a competitive rate of £27 Per Hour, paid a minimum of 8.5 hours per day, with a long-term freelance assignment available.
