Your new role
Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Site Manager to join the team on a flagship housing development in Carnforth.Working closely alongside an experienced Site Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of the development, helping to ensure the project is completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the high-quality standards the business is known for.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the day-to-day management of site operations
Coordinating subcontractors and trade packages
Monitoring health & safety compliance across the development
Supporting quality control inspections and customer care standards
Ensuring work is delivered in line with programme requirements
Assisting with NHBC inspections and quality audits
Maintaining excellent relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders
Driving high standards of housekeeping and presentation across the siteWhat you'll need to succeed
Previous experience working within a Site Management or Assistant Site Management role
Experience within new-build residential housing developments
Good understanding of construction processes and health & safety legislation
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a site team
SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
CSCS Card
First Aid at Work qualification (desirable)What you'll get in return
