Job Description

A highly respected, employee-owned Building Control consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Director - Building Control to join its Hinckley office and become a key member of the Senior Management Team. The successful Associate Director - Building Control will take on a dual strategic and operational position, combining senior leadership responsibilities with team management and hands-on project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Associate Director - Building Control seeking genuine influence over business growth, service development and future company direction. The Associate Director - Building Control's Role The Associate Director - Building Control will lead and develop a team of Registered Building Inspectors while overseeing the consistent delivery of high-quality Building Control, fire safety and associated consultancy services. Alongside contributing to business strategy, the Associate Director - Building Control will manage their own portfolio of clients and projects. The Associate Director - Building Control will also support operational performance, workload planning, technical standards and team development. Responsibilities will include: Contributing to the strategic direction of the business Managing, mentoring and developing a team of Building Inspectors Overseeing workloads, performance and service delivery Acting as the Registered Building Inspector for allocated projects Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships Supporting the growth of Building Control and consultancy services Ensuring projects meet regulatory and professional standards Balancing commercial objectives with technical delivery The Associate Director - Building Control The successful Associate Director - Building Control will have extensive Building Control experience and a strong understanding of current Building Safety Regulator requirements.
