Are you an experienced Building Performance Consultant with exceptional IES VE expertise and consultancy management experience?
Zest4Talent is partnering with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy to recruit an Associate / Associate Director to lead and develop its growing Building Performance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected consultancy delivering innovative, sustainable building solutions across the UK. You'll combine technical excellence with leadership, mentoring, client relationship management and business development.
The Role
You'll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects while supporting the continued growth of the Building Performance team.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading Building Performance and Sustainability projects across multiple sectors.
* Delivering and reviewing Dynamic Thermal Modelling using IES VE.
* Providing technical leadership on overheating assessments, thermal comfort, operational energy and building performance.
* Managing, mentoring and developing a team of consultants.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Supporting business development and winning new work.
* Ensuring projects are delivered to programme, budget and the highest technical standards.
* Contributing to the strategic growth of the consultancy.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
* Extensive experience within a Building Performance or Sustainability Consultancy.
* Expert user of IES VE.
* Previous consultancy management or team leadership experience.
* Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
* Commercial awareness with experience developing client relationships.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* A passion for developing people and driving technical excellence.
Location
The preferred location for this position is Edinburgh, however applications are also encouraged from candidates based in:
* Glasgow
* Leeds
* Warrington
* Birmingham
This is a hybrid position, requiring attendance in your nearest office three days per week.
