Our client, a well-established construction consultancy with a strong presence across Scotland, is seeking an Associate Director to join their Edinburgh office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to step into a senior leadership role with genuine progression toward Director level.
Responsibilities of the Associate Director:
Leading and managing a portfolio of high-value projects from feasibility through to final account
Mentoring and developing a team of Quantity Surveyors and Cost Managers
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a focus on business development
Taking ownership of commercial reporting, risk management, and cost control across projects
Working closely with Directors on strategic growth of the Edinburgh office
Requirements of the Associate Director
MRICS qualified (essential)
Strong background in quantity surveying/cost management within a consultancy setting
Proven experience managing projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, or public sector
Demonstrable leadership and mentoring experience
Ambition to progress toward Director level
