Associate Director
Location: Skipton, North Yorkshire

Candidates are required to have:
Experience: ideally a minimum of seven years post-qualification experience in a similar or equivalent role.
RTPI Accredited.
Proven track record: successful in project delivery and leadership.
Strong client-side experience: the ability to understand client needs and translate them into exceptional solutions.
Business acumen: ability to significantly contribute to company-wide business development efforts.
Excellent communication skills: interpersonal and organisational skills, and the ability to articulate complex planning strategies across different levels.
Team player: collaborative and supportive style with a proven track record of mentoring junior team members.
Drive: energy and passion essential.
What does the role involve?
Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, by understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional project delivery.
Business Development: The ability to identify and win new business opportunities, collaborate with others, and contribute to the growth of the firm.
Project Leadership: Lead on complex projects and take personal responsibility for project delivery and execution - either directly or working in partnership with others.
Quality Assurance: Ensure consistently high standards and adherence to project timelines.
Team Management: Mentor and guide team members, and where possible foster an environment of professional growth and collaboration.
Competence: Confidence to deal with a range of planning disciplines.
Working alongside other services lines in Architecture, Landscape and Consulting, the candidate will be required to work on planning projects as well as projects that form part of a wider integrated service to their clients. These projects are diverse, covering the UK, with many sites located within challenging and sensitive environments across a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, leisure and tourism.
