Attendance Officer - Tower Hamlets - ASAP Start
Full Time | £18-£22 per hour (depending on experience)
We're looking for an experienced Attendance Officer to join a school in Tower Hamlets. This is a key role in supporting students, families, and staff to ensure excellent attendance and safeguarding standards across the school.
What we're looking for:
Experience working as an Attendance Officer (or similar school-based role)
Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) training or experience - essential
Confident using Arbor MIS system
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to build positive relationships with parents, pupils, and external agenciesAttendance Officer Day-to-day duties include:
Monitoring and following up on attendance and punctuality
Producing and analysing reports from Arbor
Carrying out home visits where needed
Working with the safeguarding team as a DSL/deputy DSL
Promoting a culture of good attendance across the schoolAttendance Officer - Details:
Full-time position (term time)
