Audio Typist / Receptionist
Location: Canterbury
Salary: £24,000 to £27,000 Pro rata
Job type: Full-time, 9 month fixed term contract
We are working with our client, a well-established and highly professional organisation based in Canterbury, to recruit an experienced Audio Typist / Receptionist.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-standing and respected business where you will play a key role in both client service and office support. The position is offered on a full-time, 9 month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
The Role
This is a varied role where you will combine accurate audio typing and document preparation with reception duties as the first point of contact for clients.
Responsibilities will include:
Audio typing and formatting documents, reports, and correspondence
Meeting and greeting clients in a professional manner
Answering calls and managing incoming communications
Maintaining organised files and records, both electronic and hard copy
Monitoring stationery and office supplies
Opening, scanning, and franking postPerson Specification
Strong and accurate typing skills (audio typing experience essential)
Excellent attention to detail
Professional phone manner and confident client-facing skills
Ability to learn and adapt to new terminology
Previous administrative or clerical experience (advantageous)Benefits
Salary £24,000 to £27,000 Pro rata
Hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm (1 hour and 15 minutes lunch break)
Holiday: 22 days plus bank holidays
