Are you a seasoned AV Project Manager with a passion for delivering complex, high-value programmes from concept to completion? Our client-a world-leading audio visual integrator-is seeking an experienced Client Direct Project Manager to join their Projects Delivery Department.
This is a senior-level opportunity to lead end-to-end AV deployments across client direct and construction projects, working closely with sales, operations, and engineering teams. 🔧 Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple AV projects within budget and to client satisfaction
Monitor progress against programme, resolve issues, and minimise delays
Ensure consistent execution by implementing standards and SOPs
Liaise with internal departments, clients, contractors, and AV integrators
Oversee health & safety documentation and safe systems of work
Understand contractual obligations and regional regulations
Ensure technical and drawing information is accurate and approved
Manage system setup and concept validation
Handle financial aspects including invoicing and variations
Interface AV systems with client building infrastructure (hardware/software)
Represent the company professionally at senior stakeholder level
Produce real-time project documentation and reporting
Attend pre-tender interviews and maintain impartiality
Develop subject matter expertise in key areas of AV project work🧠 Technical Expertise Required
AVoIP: Crestron NVX, Extron NAV, Q-Sys NV, bandwidth planning
Dante/AES67: audio over IP, clocking, distribution, layer 2 networking
IP Networks: VLANs, DNS, multicast/unicast, PTP, IPTV routing
DSP Design: channel counts, licensing, device limitations
Audio Reproduction: signal levels, echo cancellation, EQ, delay management
AV System Design: schematics, signal flow, workflow validation
AV System Build: M&E coordination, containment, power/data requirements🎯 Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven experience managing AV projects in client direct or construction environments
Strong technical understanding of AV systems and network integration
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised with attention to detail and financial acumen
Confident leading cross-functional teams and representing the business externally
