Job Description
We are currently working with a long-established chartered accountancy practice based in Kettering, looking for an excellent candidate with practice experience to join them as an Audit and Accounts Senior.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Preparation of Limited Company statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
* Preparation of VAT returns and bookkeeping
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Assist in the planning, testing and completion of Audit assignments
* Preparation of larger sole-trader and partnership accounts
* Preparing Business Tax and Capital Allowance Computations
* Dealing with general client queries
* Preparation of self-assessments
Skills:
* AAT qualified and/or ACA/ACCA part qualified or qualified by experience.
* Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential ideally a minimum of 4 years.
* Knowledge of Sage/Xero and Quickbooks and IRIS will be an advantage
* Team player with friendly, approachable and positive professional outlook.
* Ability to multitask, prioritise and work to tight deadlines
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to adapt to new advancements in technology
* Would need to live within easy commuting distance of their office in Kettering
* Hold a valid UK driving licence, as occasional travel to clients’ premises will be requiredBefore You Apply
