Are you an experienced Audit leader looking for the next challenge in your career? My client is looking for an Audit Manager who can effectively manage relationships with clients and prepare Audit Needs Assessments as required. You will conduct internal audit reviews, which will consist of planning, testing, providing recommendations and reporting.
As the Audit Manager, you will conduct your work in accordance with the PSIAS/IIA UK standards and where required you will review the work of junior staff. You will attend Audit Committee meetings as the lead representative of the organisation.
Key responsibilities of the Audit Manager
Carry out internal audit reviews, to include planning, testing, suggesting improvements and reporting
Conduct all internal audit work in accordance with PSIAS/IIA-UK standards
Effectively manage relationships with clients and attend Audit Committees as the lead representative
Liaise with the Director of Audit, keeping them regularly informed of all significant matters in relation to allocated clients
Amend reports where required to enable them to be finalised
Deliver business development and tender presentations to potential new clients
Ensure all work is completed within the agreed timeframes
Required skills and experience of the Audit Manager
Holds or studying towards a professional qualification
Experienced with internal auditing
Previously conducted system-based audits
Strong report writing skills, detailing work completed and significant findings
Capable of working independently
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
