Audit Manager - Not for Profit Focus - Mid Tier Accounting Firm
This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Audit Assistant Manager or Manager to step into an extremely well regarded national accounting firm.

The Role
Delivering multiple assignments to agreed deadlines and reporting directly to the Partners the role requires proven experience working with non profit clients.
Typically the clients will be in excess of £500k and will range across charities, schools, colleges, religious organisations and healthcare specific charities.
For this role you will need a flair for business development and client interactions and a genuine positivity and energy.
Responsibilities
These are varied and will include:
Job planning, budgeting and delegating tasks to the team with supervision and monitoring of team progress
Detailed review of the file, debriefing team with a key focus on feedback
Tax Compliance if required and liaising with Tax Specialists if needed
Finalisation of the file for Partner review, including the calculation of corporation tax
Subsequent submission to HMRC and Companies House
Using technology confidently and displaying knowledge and competence in various packages including Pro Audit, CCH, MS Office
Motivation and encouragement of the team, providing timely constructive feedback
Overseeing and mentoring trainees during their training contract providing assistance when required
Assisting with in-house training and providing upward feedback
Attending client gatherings or client seminars on an ad hoc basis
Identifying account development opportunities with clients and progressing these in liaison with the Partner
Assisting with preparation and presentation of new client pitches
What we are looking for
* ACA or ACCA or international equivalent.
* Right to work in the UK
* Experience of running own portfolio of clients
* NP audit experience
* An understanding of corporate tax and VAT
* High level of familiarity with UK auditing and accounting standards
* Technically competent
* High level of personal motivation and drive
* Excellent interpersonal skills and organisational skills
* Adaptable and flexible approach
* Ability to use own initiative
* Ability to motivate and encourage others
* Ability to effectively identify and approach prospects and contribute to the development of the practice
