Electrical Authorised Persons / SAP – Data Centre Projects

Locations: Belgium & Sweden
Working Pattern: Rotational

BIM Recruiter is currently recruiting Electrical Authorised Persons (AP) / Senior Authorised Persons (SAP) to join major Data Centre projects in Belgium and Sweden.

These are excellent opportunities for experienced electrical professionals with proven AP/SAP experience within Data Centre environments, offering the chance to work on major international projects with attractive rotational packages.

The Role

As an Electrical AP / SAP, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe operation, isolation and control of electrical systems across large-scale Data Centre projects.

Responsibilities will include:

  * Acting as an Authorised Person (AP) or Senior Authorised Person (SAP) in accordance with project procedures

  * Managing and controlling electrical isolation, switching and energisation activities

  * Implementing and maintaining safe systems of work

  * Reviewing and approving electrical switching and isolation procedures

  * Managing electrical permits and safety documentation

  * Working closely with electrical construction, commissioning and project teams

  * Supporting the safe energisation and commissioning of critical electrical infrastructure

  * Ensuring compliance with project safety standards and electrical safety procedures

  * Liaising with project management, contractors and client representatives

  * Providing technical leadership and guidance to electrical teams on site

Candidates must have:

  * Proven AP or SAP experience on Data Centre projects

  * Strong electrical engineering/construction experience

  * Experience working within large-scale critical infrastructure or Data Centre environments

  * A strong understanding of electrical safety, isolation and energisation procedures

  * Experience managing permits, switching and electrical safety documentation

  * Excellent communication and coordination skills

  * The ability to work effectively within a large, multidisciplinary project team

  * Flexibility to work on a rotational basis

EU Passport Required

Due to current visa processing timelines, candidates must hold a valid EU passport to be considered for these positions.

Unfortunately, candidates requiring a new work visa cannot be considered for these particular opportunities due to the project timelines.

Rotational Packages

The roles will operate on a rotational basis, making them particularly attractive to candidates who are comfortable working internationally while maintaining a structured rotation.

Travel, accommodation and living allowances will be provided, alongside the agreed project package.
