Salary: £40,(Apply online only) - £43,(Apply online only) DOE
33 days holiday INC bank holidays. Hours Mon-Fri, 7:30-5pm

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in Dursley. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing vehicle electrical systems across a range of vehicles. This role would suit someone with strong diagnostic skills and a background in heavy vehicle or commercial automotive electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose electrical faults and repair wiring systems using advanced diagnostic tools.
Repair and replace faulty wiring, lighting, sensors, and control systems in line with manufacturer specifications.
Install and configure new electrical systems, including lighting, CANbuscomponents, CCTV, weighing systems, and telematics.
Install and test electrical components and wiring harnesses in vehicles.
Maintain accurate records of all electrical repairs and installations.
Skills & Experience

Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, ideally in commercial or heavy vehicle sectors.
Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems, including CANbusand multiplex wiring.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
Competent with diagnostic software and tools.
