Job Description
Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to join their team. The job will involve a wide variety of electrical tasks working on high end vehicles.
PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
* At least several years experience as an Auto Electrician, and a solid work history.
* Ideally you will hold an 18th edition qualification.
* An NVQ or equivalent qualification would be an advantage, however our client will consider applications from Auto Electricians that are qualified by hands-on experience.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am to 4pm.
Salary depending on experience, likely between £30,000 - £40,000 + Performance bonus.
Responsibilities:
* Basic fault finding
* AC-DC connections and chargers
* Security system installs including immobilisers, trackers and alarms
* Use of VDCS and Odis for diagnostics and coding
* Installation of 12v leisure battery systems with battery to battery charging
* Production and installation of wiring looms
* Solar panel and regulator installations
* Audio media installs involving head unit upgrades and amplified sound systems
* Connection of air conditioning units
* Air suspension electrical connections
* Heater wiring
* LED lighting wiring and connections
