AutoCAD Designer – Metal Roofing, Cladding & Facades
We’re seeking an experienced AutoCAD Designer with a strong background in metal roofing, cladding, and façade systems to join a well-established and forward-thinking specialist contractor based in East Sussex, within easy reach of Lewes and the A27.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated designer to join a collaborative, innovative, and supportive team delivering high-quality projects for major clients across the UK.
The Role
You’ll work closely with the Technical Director and wider design team to produce detailed technical drawings, 3D designs, and fabrication details for a range of roofing and façade projects. You’ll also liaise with clients, architects, and suppliers to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all stages of design and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
*
Prepare accurate AutoCAD drawings for roofing, cladding, and façade systems.
*
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver technically sound design solutions.
*
Participate in manufacturer CPD training to maintain up-to-date technical knowledge.
*
Contribute positively to a team-based, collaborative working environment.
*
Assist with document control and project information management as required.
Skills & Experience
We’re looking for candidates who bring:
*
Proven experience within the metal roofing, cladding, or façade industry.
*
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Inventor or similar 3D software experience desirable).
*
A positive, can-do attitude and good interpersonal skills.
*
Sound general education and strong written/verbal communication skills.
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good general IT literacy.

Office-based role in East Sussex, convenient for travel from London and Gatwick.
